Aruba

  Before I flew to Europe, I spent the week with my mom and sister in Aruba. It was fantastic to spend some time with my family. Aruba surprised me with all of the Dutch influence. It was a great week of swimming, adventuring and getting a little sun.

An interesting lovebird tradition in Florence includes a bridge and a lock. When a couple is in love, they go to a bridge and write their initials onto a lock and clamp it onto the bridge, locking their love together forever. Recently, it's been found that the locks are ruining the old bridges and the police have been cutting them off. I wonder what happens to the lovebirds the moment the locks are cut?  

Italians

The Italians have a certain way about them that makes me want to make photographs of them every second of the day. 

Florence, Italy

After my friend left, I caught a train to Florence for a week of culture. I got to see the world with the same light the greats used for their masterpieces. I was in awe of everything around me. The light, the smells, the feeling of the old buildings, and the even the cobblestones were more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. 

New Years

During winter break I flew to Munich, Germany to visit my father and his family for a couple of weeks. It was fun showing my friend John my favorite places around the city!
