I was sent to cover the Obama visit in Columbia, Mo for the Boone County Journal. It was my first political rally, which was pretty exciting. I was even more excited to be able to photograph it. I didn't have the proper lenses for this project, but I got a few shots that I like. Not only did I get to see Obama, but I also got to meet some members of the traveling press. I also got to go up in the Genie to take pictures from above. It was such a great experience! I can't wait to do it again. I didn't think I would enjoy it that much, but I really did. I love all the opportunities we have in Columbia to make fun pictures and to be able to practice at such great events.
